NICE - The National Initiative for the Care of the Elderly

THE NATIONAL INITIATIVE FOR CARE OF THE ELDERLY (NICE) has compiled a series of INFORMATION TOOLS generated from multiple research studies focussed on understanding life challenges as people age.  The research agenda over a period of 20 years was supported by National and International grant funding obtained and directed by Dr. Lynn McDonald, NICE Scientific Director and members of the NICE research community.

NICE INFORMATION TOOLS generated by NICE research are augmented by national research entities e.g. CANADA Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) - Aging Institute.  USA National Institutes of Health (NIH) - National Institute on Aging (NIA)
