Toronto Metropolitan University researchers are seeking elderly study participants

A team of researchers at Toronto Metropolitan University are seeking participants for a study titled "Understanding Online Health Information Search in Older Adults: Assessing How Search Results Influence Decision-Making". The purpose of this study is to understand how older adults search for health information online and how they determine which sites and information are trustworthy. In order to participate in this study you should:

  • Be 60 years of age or older
  • Reside in the Greater Toronto Area
  • Be proficient in English
  • Be able-bodied and physically capable of using a computer; basic operational skills such as moving the mouse, using the keyboard.

This study will take 1.5 hours to complete and selected participants will receive $60 in appreciation of their time.
