Assaulted Women’s Helpline - Seniors Safety Line

The Seniors Safety Line is the only 24 hour crisis and support line for seniors in Ontario who have experienced any type of abuse or neglect. Callers receive emotional support, safety planning, information and referrals in over 200 languages.

At Assaulted Women’s Helpline, we run a 24/7, 365 days a year crisis line for all women and gender diverse folks across the province of Ontario. We also run a separate line specifically for older adults of all genders called the Seniors Safety Line. The Seniors Safety Line is also available 24/7, and provides counselling, emotional support, safety planning, information, and resource referral for anyone for anyone experiencing any kind of crisis, abuse, neglect, or distress. We provide service in over 200 languages, and also have an online chat option.
